Climbing an active volcano

One famous volcano in Bali has got to be Mount Batur, which is actually still active, but many people still climb it such that when we did the climb, there were crowds of people in front and behind us.

There are also animals that you might see along the way, like monkeys and cows. But best of all is the breathtaking views. Remember to wear snug, comfy shoes as the trek down is full of soft ash material and it can be tough to keep balance.
