For US$40, stay in a nearly new 4-star hotel, Passha Atelier Kuta

Atmosphere/Facilities: Many people say that the number of stars in Bali's star-rated hotels is just for reference, but after actually staying there, I can confirm that Paasha Atelier Kuta is really great value for money and a great bargain.
It is located in North Kuta, just a 15-minute walk to Kuta Beach. The price is US$40 (NT$1,200) including breakfast for two and tax. The chef racks his brains every day to change the dishes, including fried rice, fried noodles, and fried seasonal vegetables. There are eight dishes in the buffet alone, which change every day. They offer a variety of breads and fruits, so you won't get tired of them.
Next to the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel is the swimming pool. There is a SPA and a gym on the first floor. It deserves four stars.
