A tranquil, magical place to stay in Bali

Santi Mandala Villa & Spa is a beautiful, Balinese picturesque hotel to stay at when in Bali. It is nestled in a tropical hideaway a bit south from Ubud, so you can enjoy your day in Ubud and then retreat to a nice cozy, secluded resort to relax and recover. The grounds are beautiful to walk around, especially in the morning. If you are a yogi, they also have a separate, beautiful outdoor area overlooking a pond where you can practice yoga.

Each room is a separate villa, with lovely Balinese architecture. Rooms are very spacious with outdoorsy bathroom and shower. We had the pool villa so it was so refreshing and nice to take a swim in the midday heat.

They do offer a shuttle to Ubud but only at 10am in the morning, so you would either have to rent a bike and drive yourselves or take a taxi if you’re heading out to Ubud at different hours. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
