So far, my favorite hidden travel destination has appeared

This is Qiyun Mountain. Although not as famous as Huangshan, it faces Huangshan to the north and south and is one of China's Four Great Taoist Mountains, known as the "Little Wudang of Jiangnan."
Billions of years of geological rifting have created Qiyun Mountain's unique character.
The reddish cliff walls burn like flames, the variously shaped peak forests appear and disappear in the morning mist, and Xianglu Peak stands solitary and sharp like a brush.
The four vermilion characters "Tian Kai Shen Xiu" (Heavenly Open Divine Beauty) above the Zhenxian Cave Mansion appear and disappear in the clouds like the gates of a celestial palace.

① Zhenxian Cave Mansion
The essence of Qiyun Mountain's Taoist sacred realm, right in front of the Tianmen Gate. Thirteen natural caves like immortal finger marks are embedded in the red cliff.
② Yuxu Palace
The wonder of Yuxu Palace lies in its "suspended marvel." The entire temple is built on vermilion cliffs, with rock-carved mortise joints and wooden beams inserted.
③ Yuehua Tianjie
An ancient Taoist village on the cliff, where you can see local villagers and Taoist practitioners who come to cultivate on the mountain. It features beautiful Hui-style architecture.
④ Fang La Village
A hundred-meter sky ladder built along the cliff face. Climb to the end of the ladder to reach Fang La Village. The view is perfect for sightseeing, with green and red cliffs complementing each other. Standing here, you can take in the beauty of the distant mountains.

In autumn, Qiyun Mountain has a cool climate and an elevation of only 585 meters, making it great for parents with children to enjoy. There are many rich activities at night, perfect for night tours. You can see intangible cultural heritage performances like the "Intangible Heritage Charcoal Flower Dance" and "Qiyun Iron Flower Show." At night, Fengdeng Bridge hosts the "Hengjiang Golden Dragon Dance 🐲" plus the "Hengjiang Fireworks Show," which is truly worth seeing❗️

About accommodation🏠
I chose to stay at the Qiyun Mountain Baiyue Resort Hotel, which is within walking distance to the cable car station. The hotel is well-established and offers a good experience. I recommend staying here if you plan to climb Qiyun Mountain.

1️⃣ Cable car hours are 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Pay attention to the visiting time so you don’t miss the cable car down.
2️⃣ Wear comfortable shoes and travel light without carrying too much.
