"I recently returned from a week-long trip to Bali, and I'm still reeling from the experience. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The island's lush green landscapes, pristine beaches, and warm locals made me feel right at home.
My trip began with a flight from Singapore to Ngurah Rai International Airport, which cost me around $200. After arriving, I hired a taxi to take me to my hotel in Seminyak, which cost around $15.
For the next few days, I explored the island using a rented scooter, which cost around $5 per day. Here are some of the top places I visited:
- Uluwatu Temple: $10 entrance fee
- Tanah Lot: $5 entrance fee
- Gili Islands: $20 for a return boat ticket
- Ubud Monkey Forest: $10 entrance fee
- Tegalalang Rice Terrace: free entrance, but donations welcome
- Waterbom Bali: $30 entrance fee
- Sunset Dinner Cruise: $80
I also took a day trip to Nusa Penida Island, which cost around $50 for a return boat ticket.
The food in Bali was incredible, and I had some of the best meals of my life. A traditional Balinese dinner at a local restaurant cost around $10, while a seafood feast at a beachside restaurant cost around $25.
Here's a breakdown of my expenses:
- Flights: $200
- Taxi fare: $15
- Scooter rental (5 days): $25
- Accommodation (7 nights): $500
- Food and drink: $300
- Transportation (taxis, etc.): $50
- Activities and entrance fees: $250
- Total: $1,340
I would highly recommend Bali to anyone looking for a relaxing and culturally rich vacation. The island has something for everyone, and I can't wait to go back."#summerdestinations
