Legian - Seminyak beachwalk, a nice dose of Bali.

The quest for the perfect beachwalk continues along Bali's more popular beaches - Legian and Seminyak. This beachfront is an ubiquitous haunt for those looking for either surf lessons, a chilled-out drink by the beach, and of course, the sea and the waves. The entrance to Legian Beach is magnificently blazoned with a large statue of a Balinese warrior, and a Balinese princess, clad in traditional garb, both on surfboards, braving a gigantic wave. The beach walk is tightly laced with beach bars, and surf school booths with sparse gaps where one might find more statues - of fantastic creatures from the Balinese mythology, mermaids and fish-elephants called Gadjamina. This mixture of touristy hangouts, nature and mythology is what makes Bali special, and to some extent, unforgettably wonderful.
