[Sanur, Bali] A Stay for a Special Day

Established in 1962, this long-standing hotel retains the charming atmosphere of the old days wherever you look, giving you a true sense of Bali.

Considering the travel budget, it’s hard to stay here often, so I wanted to stay on a special day and chose the Village Bungalow during Bali’s New Year, "Nyepi."

The grounds have a small garden and a gazebo, and inside the room, there is a large sofa, so you can relax both outdoors and indoors. The gazebo has an outlet and good WiFi connection, so you can enjoy a luxurious time lounging around while looking at your smartphone or reading a book.

There is a bathtub, and the shower is outdoors, but both have plenty of hot water, so you can feel at ease ☺️

The restaurant is located along the beach, so you can enjoy a leisurely meal while watching people walk along the promenade.

Breakfast is à la carte, and in addition to the main dish, croissants are also served, making it quite a satisfying amount. If you can’t finish it, just ask the staff, and they will pack it for you to take away. The jam here is very delicious and highly recommended 🫶

The staff’s hospitality is excellent, and many guests staying here love Bali’s customs and people, so I think you can spend your time quietly and peacefully.

This hotel is recommended for when you want to relax without doing anything or to spend a special day.
