Jatiluwih Rice Terraces are magnificent terraced rice fields located in Tabanan Regency, central Bali, Indonesia, and are registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.
"Jatiluwih" means "truly wonderful" in Balinese, and true to its name, the landscape of lush green terraces spreading over approximately 600 hectares is breathtaking.

While Jatiluwih's rice terraces are a famous tourist destination, they still retain a peaceful and rustic atmosphere, with some new places like cafes and hotels gradually being built.

The biggest attraction is definitely the well-maintained trekking courses that allow you to fully enjoy nature while walking through the rice terraces. The sounds of cows and water coming from somewhere add charm, and the scenery reminiscent of rural roads in Japan evokes a sense of nostalgia.

The entrance fee is 50,000 Indonesian Rupiah for adults and 25,000 Rupiah for children. The opening hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
For those who want to enjoy trekking, an early visit is recommended.

Jatiluwih Rice Terraces are a valuable spot where you can feel the nature and traditional culture of Bali Island, and it is a highly recommended place.
