Icon Bali, the new shopping mall in Sanur, Bali

Icon Bali is a newly opened shopping mall in Sanur, about a 40-minute taxi ride from Nusa Dua.

Since it’s a brand-new mall, it’s very clean and stylish.

There were various brand stores, but since there was no price advantage, I skipped shopping.

Instead, what was really great?

The ocean view from the outdoor terrace
Various restaurants

It felt more like a place to enjoy a stunning ocean view and a meal rather than just a shopping mall.
There’s also a well-maintained walking path in front of the mall,
perfect for a light stroll and meal when you have some free time!

Excelso Coffee is an Indonesian local franchise café inside ICON BALI.
The view is fantastic. If you sit on the terrace seats, the open sea is right in front of you!

However… the coffee taste was disappointing. They also sell coffee beans at the entrance, but is it really necessary?
Also, the terrace seats allow smoking, so the smell of cigarettes is quite strong. My husband is a smoker, so I thought the smell would be okay, but it was tough. I don’t recommend the terrace seats if you have kids.

Anyway, I recommend it as a place to relax while enjoying the view!

The Korean restaurant Gangnam

I ordered soft tofu stew, cold noodles, spicy pork, and calamari, but the taste was average for the price.
It’s okay for days when you crave Korean food,
but considering the price, I don’t want to go back.
