Dujiangyan City Longchi National Forest Park

Longchi National Forest Park is located within Dujiangyan City, only 84 kilometers away from Chengdu and 30 kilometers from Dujiangyan, and is one of the 20 key national-level forest parks in China.
The Longchi scenic area's geomorphological structure was formed in the late Permian period. It has an ancient origin of flora and fauna, with numerous ancient fossils. Endangered tree species known as 'living fossils,' such as Davidia involucrata, Keteleeria evelyniana, silver pheasant, and Michelia maudiae, thrive here. The wildlife includes golden monkeys, giant pandas, antelopes, golden pheasants, and takins. It is acclaimed by Chinese and foreign experts as a 'gene bank of wild plants' and a 'natural paradise for animals'.
