✨Mandapa, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve
1⃣️🍁 "At first, the path was narrow, just wide enough for one person; after walking several dozen steps, it suddenly opened up."
Before your eyes unfolds the entire valley, surrounded by the rushing Ayung River, with the hidden hotel nestled within, embraced by mountains and water. The awe is indescribable and must be experienced in person. A great retreat within the city, a paradise beyond the world…✨
2⃣️🌿 Rooms
Staying in the basic suite and villa types, the basic suite is standard, while the villa offers a stronger sense of seclusion. Swimming surrounded by forest and terraced rice fields is truly a pleasure. Notably, the living room and bedroom are separate, and there is an outdoor shower area that I really like✨
3⃣️🍂 Dining
The hotel has three restaurants, with Kubu fine dining recommended. It features bamboo-woven cocoon-shaped private rooms; the Japanese restaurant is in the lobby with an open view, perfect for enjoying a cocktail and some snacks at sunset. Breakfast is a combination of à la carte and buffet, beautifully presented but the taste is not particularly outstanding✨
4⃣️🍀 Facilities
The hotel's public areas are arranged around the terraces and river. Sitting by the pool, you are immediately served snacks and coconut. The lounge offers tea and drinks, perfect for daydreaming while facing the river. Nature is luxury here; the hotel’s ecology is excellent, with sightings of lizards, monkeys, squirrels, and the hotel’s own calves, chickens, ducks, and geese. Additionally, the hotel has its own shuttle service for fixed-point transfers to and from Ubud city and nearby attractions✨
