This summer, we vacationed in Bali, staying at the renowned The St. Regus Resort in Nusa Dua. One night, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant, Kayuputi.
Kayuputi is the hotel's signature restaurant, serving up a sophisticated fusion of Asian and Western cuisine against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean and Nusa Dua Beach. We enjoyed an outdoor seating area, and despite being summer, the gentle breeze from the Indian Ocean brought a touch of coolness. The restaurant's spacious interior, with its bustling open kitchen, created a vibrant, warm, and inviting atmosphere.
We opted for the nine-course Dinner Degustation tasting menu, meticulously paired by the sommelier with a selection of fine wines. The appetizer consisted of pomelo sorbet and crab meat. Following were snapper sashimi with caviar, lobster dumplings in clear broth, scallop bisque, steamed coral trout with black ink and shallot oil, and vanilla-smoked MB9+ Wagyu beef. Desserts included sago and coconut sorbet and aged black pineapple sorbet with ginger cream, and finally, a petit four dessert. Each dish was beautifully presented, incorporating local ingredients and creative cooking techniques, resulting in a vibrant and vibrant dining experience.
Under the moonlight, with the sea breeze caressing your face and the sound of waves crashing on the beach, enjoying delicious food and wine, accompanied by attentive service, was an extraordinary Balinese dining experience.
