The Shenshui Pavilion scenic area covers over 1,000 square meters and faces the Tangquanchi hot spring resort across a river over 300 meters wide. It can be reached by boat in just five minutes, and numerous speedboats are available on the river, making access extremely convenient. Shenshui Pavilion was designed and built by the same engineers who built the Yellow Crane Tower. Construction began in 1985 and took two years to complete. Its foundation is solid and the building is magnificent. After its completion, the surrounding hillside was planted with osmanthus, red plum trees, roses, and bamboo. Shady paths were built, and stone tables and benches were installed to protect and beautify the mountain. Shenshui Pavilion has become a must-see attraction for visitors to Tangquanchi.
