This is my personal review of Happy Puppy Yoga Bali 😊🐶
⸻
🧘♀️ Atmosphere & Location
This is an outdoor yoga class held in various areas of Bali (Ubud, Canggu, Uluwatu). Yoga mats are laid out in natural settings, and the morning sun and cool air create a truly healing atmosphere.
⸻
🐾 Program Flow and Time
• Total 60-75 minutes → 45 minutes of gentle hatha yoga + 15-20 minutes of playtime with the dogs
• The program focused on beginner-friendly movements, starting with meditation and breathing exercises, followed by free interaction with the dogs.
• The dogs were rescued, and a portion of the proceeds were donated to shelters.
⸻
😍 Experience Review & Feelings
At first, I thought I'd have to focus on the yoga, but contrary to my expectations, the dogs ran around the mat, played, and even took naps on my lap... I couldn't stop laughing.
The moments where they ran up to me in the middle of yoga poses, licked my face, and played were truly "happy chaos," as shown in the video.
I loved the yoga, and the interaction with the dogs made my heart melt.
⸻
👍 Pros & Cons
Great stress relief – Yoga + dog care definitely boosts your happiness hormones Concentration is lower – Those seeking a traditional yoga experience may not be satisfied.
Rescue dog support – A portion of the ticket is donated to a shelter, effectively supporting the cause. Allergy sufferers caution – Outdoors are fine, but those with dog allergies should be cautious.
Great for photos and videos – Guaranteed to get Instagram-worthy shots! Can be crowded – Popular and often sells out.
Children are welcome – Kid's sessions available (ages 6 and up).
💶 Price & Booking
• Approximately Rp580,000 (~40–45 USD), 1-hour session
• Free cancellations are possible up to 24 hours before class.
• Well-equipped online booking system, and you can also connect via Instagram/WhatsApp.
The psychological comfort of yoga and dogs! This experience is perfect for those times when you desperately need to laugh, play, and refresh your spirit, rather than the static meditation of yoga.
Of course, it might not be suitable if you're only looking for traditional yoga,
but it was a triple-double activity: helping rescue dogs in the fresh air, healing your mind, and even getting a little adrenaline from the cuteness.
❤️ When the puppy ran onto the mat, licked my face, and played, my stress melted away, and my heart softened. This experience was more of a "happiness booster" than yoga itself!
