Relaxing Escape in Bali at The Mulia

Bali ranks among my top destinations to visit each year, providing the perfect setting to unwind and relax. We initially booked another hotel nearby, but due to unforeseen changes, we had to reorganize our trip. My wife found The Mulia through rave reviews on Instagram and highly suggested trying it—I’m thrilled we did. It is certainly pricey, but the service is truly outstanding. We stayed in the Ocean Suite, which featured a spacious balcony and a jacuzzi—enjoying a soak while watching the waves was a unique, serene experience. The room was incredibly spacious, well-designed, with a very comfortable bed. The hotel’s amenities are fantastic, and we especially loved the live band by the lake—such a cheerful ambiance. The hotel compound is extensive, combining villas, a resort, and The Mulia premium area, offering plenty of pools to relax in. Despite the large and somewhat crowded space, it doesn't feel packed, allowing plenty of personal space and tranquility. The food and drinks aren’t the cheapest, but the quality and experience justify it. Soleil’s grilled fish was particularly memorable—highly recommended. The staff were friendly, attentive, and they really contributed to making the stay special. Overall, the entire experience offered numerous unexpected “wow” moments, surpassing all my expectations.
