Amazing Stay at Mason Elephant Lodge

Stayed at Mason Elephant Lodge for 3 nights and it was outstanding! The staff were attentive and very helpful. Our lodge was gorgeous and spotless. We had Mason chocolates and fresh fruit in our room daily. The grounds are breathtaking, with walkways offering delightful surprises, from small fish ponds to charming seating areas to relax. The tree top walk provided a beautiful view of the park, and there was a lovely cocktail/coffee bar at the end (only open for a few hours in the afternoon). The elephants seemed well cared for. They had nice resting areas and didn't work every day, having days off. The Mahoots demonstrated knowledge about the elephants and handled them with care. My only criticism is there's nowhere to unwind in the evening after dinner. The restaurant staff seemed uninterested in guests having drinks. I understand it's a sanctuary, but an evening spot would be nice. Maybe the cocktail/coffee bar could extend hours into the evening?
