Pura Taman Saraswati is a massive win for the #balionbudget traveler because entry is completely free! You don't have to pay a single rupiah to walk right up to the famous lotus pond entrance. The sight of the temple, with its intricate stone carvings and the large, still pond covered in pink lotus flowers, makes for one of the best free photo backdrops in all of Ubud. We spent a good half-hour here taking pictures and just admiring the architecture. It's a quick, high-impact sight that requires zero admission cost, allowing us to allocate our budget to other activities like food or accommodation. It’s accessible, stunning, and best of all, free viewing!
