Bali Water Garden

Trita Gangga, a water park built in 1948 by order of King Karangaseum. It is a mix of traditional Balinese and Chinese architectural styles. Before the water park was built, this was a spring (water source) where villagers got water and also a place to purify their throats and minds from bad energy. Trita, meaning blessed water, and Gangga, Gangga are said to have been taken from the Ganga River in India, the birthplace of Hinduism. Even now, when there is a Balinese Hindu ceremony, the water from Trita Gangga is used. In the center of Trita Gangga, which is about 1.2 hectares, there is a water tower, statues of gods and goddesses, and a pond. In this pond, round stones serve as bridges. In the pond, schools of goldfish swim. Several areas within the Gangga temple are already famous as hot Instagram photo spots.
