📞Hello, hello. I heard and responded.
Wat Niwet Thammaprawat is a temple in the Thammayuttika Nikaya sect. It was built during the reign of King Rama V to perform merit-making ceremonies during his royal visit to Bang Pa-In.
King Rama V wanted something unusual, so he commissioned a Western architect, Joachim Grassi, to design it. While maintaining the authenticity of a Buddhist temple, the temple features a Buddha image, a chedi, and a pulpit, which surprisingly blend together.
The temple is also decorated with stained glass depicting King Rama V, and the royal seal is displayed on the front.
To get there, as the temple is located on an island, you must take a cable car across.
