Visit the largest reclining Buddha in Nonthaburi.

🏡 Wat Rat Prakongtham was built around 1713 during the late Ayutthaya period. However, some speculate that it might have been constructed earlier but fell into disrepair due to lack of maintenance. It became abandoned and was referred to by locals as "Wat Khang Khao" (Bat Temple).
🏘 Later, in 1950, locals restored and developed the temple, renaming it Wat Rat Prakongtham.

🏠 The ordination hall housing the principal Buddha image, Luang Pho To (Sam Por Kong).
🙏 The reclining Buddha (Luang Pho Phra Non), measuring 32 meters in length, is the largest reclining Buddha in Nonthaburi, enshrined in the Reclining Buddha Pavilion.
🏚 The Reclining Buddha Pavilion also features replicas of three significant stupas: Phra That Hariphunchai, Phra That Phanom, and Phra Pathom Chedi.
🙏 Additionally, the temple houses other sacred figures such as Luang Pho Thanjai, Luang Pho Rub Chok, Luang Pho Som Prarthana, Phra Upakut, Phra Sivali, Luang Pho To Phrom Rangsri, and Pu Rue Si.
