Pay homage and ask for blessings from...a famous monk

"Luang Pho To" 📚 The sacredness of Luang Pho To, Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai

Luang Pho To, Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai is a Sukhothai-era Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture (some call it the Mara-Sadung posture). The Buddha statue is made entirely of bronze, with a lap width of 3 cubits and 1 span, with eyes open. It is enshrined in the ordination hall of Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai, Tambon Bang Phli Yai, Amphoe Bang Phli, Samut Prakan Province.
Luang Pho To, Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai is one of the legends of the three Buddha statues that floated down the river. It is believed that villagers during the Ayutthaya period invited him to go down to the river to avoid enemies, depending on where Luang Pho wanted to go to bless him.
