This is a 100% unique experience in Bangkok, you have a crowded day market in the morning and a bustling night market from evening. This Yaowarat district never sleeps unless it is the Chinese New Year. The shopping for dried goods here can be better than Hong Kong but be careful of fake and inferior products. I love to stay within this area, my favourite is Hotel Royal Bangkok Chinatown and it is center of the night market district. It is so convenient and pocket friendly to stay for a longer trip to enjoy the street food.
