Kapok Hotel

Shaoxing Kapok shouldn't be called a hotel but rather the Kapok Art Gallery|||I noticed the Kapok Hyatt Hotel under renovation during Shaoxing Tiandi's opening last October 1st, and came right after its grand opening this year. It's absolutely worth the 3-hour drive from Shanghai to check out this newly designed hotel by Mr. Ju Bin. The place is filled with artistic sculptures, flowers, greenery, and mesmerizing lighting at every turn - truly an art hotel where every step offers a new view. The lobby bar automatically dims its lights at 8 PM, creating an instant atmospheric shift into bar mode.
