#Bangkok Attractions
Bangkok, Thailand is a world-famous tourist resort city. Every day, thousands of tourists come to Bangkok for sightseeing and vacation. There are many historical temples in Bangkok. This time I would like to introduce a historical temple located on the Chao Phraya River: Lakorntham Temple วัดลครทำ. Free to visit, no tickets required. The ancient temple was built around 1851 during the reign of King Rama II by Mr. Boonyang, the head of the Nok Theater Troupe. The villagers called it "Nai Boonyang", which means "lakornnok", hence the name. Because there were two famous drama groups during the time when King Rama founded the country: Prince Krom Luang Phitakmontri's drama Nai. The architecture inside the ancient temple is magnificent, and the exterior decoration reflects the artistic style of the Siamese Dynasty. It is exquisite and very suitable for taking pictures. It is a good place to visit temples when traveling in Bangkok.
