If you think of another tourist attraction along the BTS line, I would like to recommend “Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan” in Yaowarat, Bangkok.

Wat Traimit has an ancient Buddha statue made of pure gold weighing 5.5 tons, or what is known as “Luang Pho Thongkham”. Thai people can worship it for free. The real one is very beautiful. There are many tourists even on weekdays.

You can take the MRT and get off at Hua Lamphong Station, exit number 1, then walk to the temple for about 10 minutes. It is very easy and convenient. If you come to this area, don’t miss it. Visiting hours are every day from 08:00-17:00.
