🏡Wat Khun Chan was built around 1837 by Phra Ya Maha Amatya Thibodi (Pom Amatyakul) and was named Wat Khun Chan because the founder had won a battle in Vientiane. Later, his youngest daughter renovated it, and in 1883, King Rama V granted it the name Wat Woramatya Phatsansaram.
