The location of the Army Internal Audit Office was originally the house of Phra Ya Burut Ratana Ratchaphanlop, a loyal servant to the Chakri Dynasty for three reigns. He entered royal service as a page during the reign of King Rama V. Due to his diligence and loyalty, he gained the King's trust and was closely involved in royal duties. He dedicated himself so much to his service that he rarely returned to his distant home. Consequently, King Rama V granted him land and money to build a house. The building is beautifully and prominently designed in the style of a Thai palace.
Today, the Phra Ya Burut Building is open for the public to rent for various ceremonies. Our friend also held their wedding here.
