This time I will introduce a one-day tour to the ancient temples in Bangkok’s Chinatown. All attractions are free to visit and take photos📸, no tickets are required, and shoes need to be taken off when entering the temple hall.
Itinerary introduction: First take the subway MRT to Samyan MRT สามย่าน Sanyang Station. After getting off the bus, we arrived at the first attraction: Hua Lamphong Temple (Hualamphong Temple). Wat Hua Lamphong is a temple located in the heart of Bangkok. It has an interesting history. There are many activities to attend, including:
* Wat Hua Lamphong was formerly known as Wat Wua Lampong and is believed to have been built in the early Rattanakosin period. Located on Rama IV Road, Si Phraya Subdistrict, Bang Rak District, Bangkok. It is a third-level royal temple, of ordinary type. This is the location of the Ruamkatanyu Foundation. Known for helping the poor and disaster victims. Ubosot: A place where important Buddha images are enshrined. And has beautiful architecture. Wat Hua Lamphong is open for visitors and merit-making 24 hours a day. There are many holy objects in the temple for people to worship and pray, such as Luang Por Tanjai, Thao Wessuwan, Lord Ganesha, etc. This is a temple of spiritual importance and a popular place for people to come and make merit and pray. The temple building is tall and majestic, and the exterior decoration structure is full of Siamese cultural and artistic style design. It is exquisite and very suitable for taking pictures. There are not many tourists in the temple, it is quiet and peaceful, very suitable for meditation alone. There are public toilets and chairs for tourists to rest in the temple. After visiting this temple, you can go to the nearby old town of Chinatown for fun. The Golden Mount Temple in Chinatown is also a very famous royal historical temple. It has a history of one hundred years. The temple architecture of Jinshan Temple is very beautiful. Watching the sunset here is very famous in Bangkok, and it is also a popular photo-taking and check-in spot for internet celebrities.
