Bangkok Food Tour | Aunglo by Yangrak Review

#Bangkok Itinerary

The semester is about to end, and I chose this Thai izakaya——aunglo by yangrak for a small gathering with my classmates.

This store is located near Silom, a little distance from BTS and MRT, and I rode a shared bicycle directly there.

To be honest, the selection of wines is not particularly interesting. Maybe because we went there at noon, we mainly tasted the grilled skewers. I think the seasoning is a bit heavy, a little too much for me, but the meat is just right, not hard at all. I was a little disappointed with the pork skewers (moo ping) because they were too burnt. In addition to the burnt smell, I couldn't taste any other flavors, which was a pity.

As for the environment, it can only be said to be okay. The decoration inside the store has Thai characteristics, but the space is not spacious. There are many people at noon, which seems a bit noisy. Fortunately, the waiter has a good attitude, and he is very active in adding water and taking orders, which also adds points to the dining experience.

In general, aunglo by yangrak has its own characteristics, but there are also some shortcomings. If you are looking for authentic Thai barbecue and don't care much about the choice of wine and the environment, you can try it. But if you have high requirements for taste and dining environment, this restaurant may not be able to meet your expectations.
