Wat Traimit, or the Temple of the Golden Buddha, is considered one of Bangkok's iconic temples. Inside the temple, the revered Golden Buddha is enshrined, a figure that has been worshipped by the people of the Yaowarat area for generations 🙏. There is a belief that the Golden Buddha has a key hidden behind it, which could unlock and separate its elements into multiple pieces, but this remains merely a legend.
Apart from the Golden Buddha, the temple houses many other significant Buddha statues. The temple grounds are well-organized, featuring a coffee shop within the premises. For those wishing to pay respects to Rahu, there is a dedicated area beside the main hall.
Additionally, the surrounding area of the temple is home to numerous famous restaurants.
