Review: Wat Traimit, Yaowarat area, pay homage to Luang Pho Kham

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck

Today we stopped by to make merit at Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan, or as many people know it, the temple that houses Luang Por Thongkham, the world's largest pure gold Buddha statue, weighing over 5.5 tons. The Buddha statue is beautifully radiant, making it a very auspicious place.

It's very easy to get there. Just get off at Hua Lamphong MRT Station and walk a little bit more. It's especially convenient for those who are already in Yaowarat.

After paying homage to Luang Por Thongkham, we walked up to the top floor of the Phra Maha Mondop, where the Buddha statue is enshrined. The light rain made the air cool and comfortable, not hot at all. We felt a sense of peace during that time.

And today was special because we also offered monk robes, which was something we had intended to do for a long time. The atmosphere around the temple was quiet, and there weren't many people to the point of being chaotic. It was a good time to both make merit and be with ourselves without rushing.

Overall, I felt very content and at ease. Wat Traimit is not only beautiful, but it is also full of good energy that anyone who visits can feel. 🍃🌧️✨
