If you pass through the building called Sathorn Square in front of the station, you will arrive at the on-site parking lot immediately, which is a nice point ☝️
The surrounding area seems to be an office district, but massage, local food, supermarkets, etc. are all within walking distance.
The location is also good, as it is one station away (about 15 minutes on foot) from the Silom area, which is popular with tourists.

If that doesn't suit your budget, it might be a good idea to stay just one night as a memento of your stay in Bangkok.
