Remember to download Google Maps before your shopping spree in Bangkok! This city is packed with shopping districts that are easy to explore, offering everything from designer brands to department stores. Here are some personally tested stores worth checking out, so you can shop non-stop~
1. Gongdid Design
This three-story space hides the design spirit of the "Thai version of Issey Miyake"! The clothing mainly features pleating techniques, with Morandi color tones that are sophisticated and flattering. The skirts and tops are full of lines but are more suitable for slim figures. When you get tired of shopping, you can grab a coffee on the first floor; the industrial-style decor is perfect for photos.
2. Loft Eyes
Located in the Siam area, this three-story complex has a curated store on the first and second floors, and the third floor focuses on clothing, shoes, and bags. Although some items lean towards everyday designs, the accessories section is worth a detailed look. Earrings and bracelets are affordable, perfect for picking small pieces to complement your outfit.
3. WWA Bangkok/Cafe
A designer brand store hidden in the Siam area with a low-key storefront that's easy to miss (remember to find the stairs to the third floor). It opens at noon, so don’t show up too early! The store combines clothing, shoes, bags, and a coffee space. The clothing cuts are avant-garde yet wearable, and you can find unique handmade bags. A must-visit for design lovers.
4. Central World
The core department store of the Siam shopping district! We recommend heading straight to the first floor’s "Thai Designer Zone," which gathers many local brands, offering everything from clothing and accessories to home goods. It’s more concentrated and easier to shop than scattered boutiques. The mall also includes premium and sports brands, and when you get tired, head to the food court to recharge.
5. Siam Paragon and Water World
The basement level is a food paradise, with Thai milk tea and mango sticky rice everywhere; the first floor gathers international big brands, and the upper sports area is great for buying outdoor gear. For family trips, remember to visit HAVA next to Water World to buy sandals that are slip-resistant and comfortable~
Link these stores into a route, and you can shop from morning till night just right. Remember to save some budget for designer brands—Thailand’s fashion surprises will definitely fill your suitcase to the brim!
