| The Sukhothai Bangkok. The Sukhothai Bangkok Hotel is named after the Siamese capital "Sukhothai." It was jointly designed by designers Kerry Hill and Edward Tuttle, using carefully selected stone, metal, and wood to create white pavilions. The entire hotel is located in a quiet corner of the bustling city. Passing through a long driveway and several buildings with distinct Thai architectural style, including the Celadon restaurant, you arrive at the hotel lobby. Inside the lobby, through the windows, you can see a red brick-built Buddhist stupa. "Sukhothai" means "Dawn of Happiness" in Sanskrit; the hotel's logo is a stupa made up of 22 diamonds, each diamond shaped like a marquise, unified yet independent, representing the hotel's staff each performing their duties. The hotel's design inspiration comes from the ancient Thai capital Sukhothai, combining traditional Thai charm with modern minimalist design, incorporating temple stupas and lotus ponds.
