The bustling metropolis of Bangkok is home to 10.7 million people. It’s a mix of flavors, vibrant culture, ancient architecture, and we can’t forget the sweltering heat.
Like any city, there is so much to see here. It’s impossible to knock out Bangkok in a weekend. Even if you are short on time, pick and choose the most important places. No traveler can pass up the temples along the Chao Praya River.
Wat Phra Chetuphon (Wat Pho) is just one of the most famous temples here. You can access it by ferry for about 15baht. Then it brings you to this first class and oldest temple in the city. The tiles sparkle in the sunlight making the colors come alive.
Getting There - Chao Praya ferry boat
Attractions - Grand Palace is also nearby, along with shopping centers
Food & Restaurants - Street food and coffee shops located nearby.
