Worship at Wat Rakhang, the royal temple of Thonburi


- Wat Rakhang Kositaram Woramahawihan is a Buddhist temple in Thailand, located in Siriraj Subdistrict, Bangkok Noi District, Bangkok. It is a second-class royal temple of the highest grade, under the administration of the Mahanikaya Sangha, Region 1. This temple is an ancient temple built during the Ayutthaya period, originally named "Wat Bang Wa Yai." Later, during the Thonburi period, King Taksin the Great established a royal palace near this temple and elevated it to a royal temple, using it as the residence of the Supreme Patriarch of the Sangha, the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand.
