We walk along the Khlong Luang Floating Market. Now from We heard it wasn’t actually a floating market in the traditional sense, but rather a land-based market with vendors lining the canal.

It was established in the 1980s by the local community along the Chao Phraya River as a water-based market selling traditional Thai food and souvenirs from boats.

The market boomed in popularity with the tourism boom, but this also brought challenges like pollution and waste management. Conservation efforts and community development projects were implemented to address these issues and promote sustainable tourism practices.
