Bangkok’s No.1 temple to visit right now: "Wat Paknam"
👩 In the past few years, this temple has become quite famous and the number of tourists has increased. Actually, I visited for the first time just two years ago (lol). It’s a bit far from central Bangkok, and I thought, "Isn’t it just a temple for Instagram photos and tourists?" (lol) But when I had some free time during a two-week stay in Thailand, I decided to check it out‼️ And wow‼️‼️‼️
It’s an incredibly beautiful space, and I couldn’t take my eyes off the vividly colored ceiling paintings. It’s a temple that stands out and captivates you like no other. The huge golden Buddha statue outside is also very impressive.
In Bangkok, the three major temples are famous, but please make sure to stretch your legs and visit this one too!
✔️ Access Information
🚉 Nearest station: MRT "Bang Phai" station, about a 10-minute walk
🚶♀️ The path from the station to the temple is narrow and can get crowded, so if you’re taking the train to the nearest station, walking from there might be faster if you’re up for it!
🚕 If you’re with kids or tired from traveling 🥱, it’s better to take a taxi straight from the city center! Don’t get off right in front of the temple; it’s faster to get off when you can see the temple nearby! (The road is narrow, and it takes time for cars to get in and out)
