Commonly known as "Wat Paknam", this large temple is located in a relatively quiet area slightly southwest of Bangkok.
It's about a 15-minute drive from Wat Arun.
The main attraction is the green glass pagoda, which is famous and familiar to even those who have never been to Thailand or have never been interested in it.
The glass pagoda is on the fifth floor of the temple, and there are various exhibits on the way there. The first floor is the entrance, and the second floor displays various Buddhist statues, scriptures, religious paintings, antiques, etc. related to Thai Buddhism, and the scarf display was beautiful and impressive.
The third floor is a museum that introduces the history of the temple and the achievements of the successive chief priests, and this booth was a little difficult.
The fourth floor is a Buddha statue gallery and meditation space.
And the fifth floor.
Around the glass spire and across the entire ceiling, beautiful murals depicting the universe and the Buddhist world spread out, creating a mysterious space that will make you sigh in surprise.
The collaboration between the pagoda and the ceiling painting makes you feel like you've wandered into another world 🌀🌀
Recommended for those who want to experience photos and scenery that are "like another world" ♡
