Located in the heart of Bangkok, Wat Pho is famous for its massive 46-meter-long Reclining Buddha statue. The golden statue is simply breathtaking, and I was left speechless the moment I saw it for the first time✨ The temple grounds are quiet and serene. While experiencing the teachings of Buddhism, I was able to spend a peaceful and calming time. It is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage, making it the perfect place to relieve travel fatigue💆♀️ Visiting in person, I was moved by the scale and sacredness that photos just can't convey. In this space where history and culture blend, I felt the deep charm of Thailand. If you’re looking for "healing" on your next trip, Wat Pho is definitely recommended🌿
[Access]
From BTS Saphan Taksin Station, take the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Tha Tien pier, then about a 5-minute walk. It’s also within walking distance from Wat Phra Kaew, making it ideal for combined sightseeing!
