Riverside Resort Hotel｜Capella Bangkok

Capella Bangkok opened in 2020, located on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, adjacent to the Four Seasons Hotel, and they even share the same yacht. You can take the yacht to the iconsiam mall across the river.

The hotel's public areas are not very large, with the outdoor space mainly consisting of the pool and the lawn next to the restaurant. Indoors, there is the lounge (lobby).

The basic room type for check-in is the Riverside Room, with an area of about 60 square meters, somewhat similar in layout to Capella Singapore. The combination of stone and solid wood is simple yet sophisticated, paired with high-quality furniture that instantly elevates the overall style.

To the right of the entrance is a walk-in closet passage that leads to the wash area. Inside, there is a dressing table, convenient for ladies to do makeup.

The wash area is square and spacious, with an extra-large standalone bathtub 🛁 in the center, thoughtfully equipped with a headrest on the side. The double sinks are grand, and between the two mirrors is a glass window that looks out onto the balcony, from which you can enjoy a distant view of the Chao Phraya River. Amenities are from labottega. There are two types of bathrobes, thick and thin. The slippers are surprisingly cotton flip-flops. The toilet is not a smart model.

The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area offer a beautiful view of the Chao Phraya River. The mattress is Sealy, thick and soft, very comfortable. The bedding feels extremely skin-friendly. The bedside sockets do not require adapters and also include USB ports.

The mini bar offers a wide variety of drinks, all free except for alcoholic beverages, and is replenished daily.

The executive lounge is the same as the lounge, with happy hour offering only a few drinks and alcohol, and the snacks are negligible.

As a city resort hotel in Bangkok, both the software and hardware are impeccable. Highly recommended.
