During my brief yet memorable trip to Bangkok, I explored some of the city's highlights, indulged in authentic Thai cuisine, and enjoyed beautiful night views by the river.
🛕 Erawan Shrine Visit
Started the trip with a visit to the famous Erawan Shrine, a spiritual and cultural landmark in the heart of the city. The atmosphere was vibrant, with locals and tourists offering prayers and enjoying the traditional Thai dance performances.
🛍️ ICONSIAM & Riverside Experience
Spent time at the stunning ICONSIAM, one of Bangkok’s most luxurious malls. The riverside location offered spectacular views and a mix of high-end retail, local brands, and an indoor floating market with authentic Thai flavors.
🚤 Chao Phraya River Night Boat Ride
In the evening, I took a boat ride along the Chao Phraya River, which offered breathtaking views of Bangkok’s skyline, especially the ICONSIAM beautifully lit up at night. The cool breeze and glittering lights made it a peaceful and memorable experience.
🍜 Thai Food Highlights
Tried a variety of Thai dishes throughout the trip—each meal was a highlight. From Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong, and Green Curry to street food like grilled skewers and mango sticky rice—everything was packed with flavor and spice.
🍞 After You Dessert Café
Wrapped up the experience with a visit to After You, a famous dessert café. Their signature Shibuya Honey Toast was soft, buttery, and indulgent—definitely lived up to the hype and was the perfect sweet ending to the trip.
