👉Originally, the villagers called this temple "Wat Mai Yai Faeng". According to history, Yai Faeng was the owner of a brothel called "Yai Faeng's Brothel" located on Soi Tao, Yaowarat Road. She was a devout Buddhist, so she invited the prostitutes in her brothel to pool their income from prostitution to build the temple in 1833. 🌸
👉And the name was changed to "Wat Kanikaphon", which means a temple built from the profits of prostitutes. 🔆

❤️For praying for love, "Yai Faeng" has a belief that "Yai Faeng" loves this temple very much. Therefore, to pray to "Yai Faeng" for success, you should first pay homage to the golden Buddha in the chapel, then go to the temple to pay homage to the black Buddha and pray to "Yai Faeng". Then, you will get what you wish for, friends. 🎯
