Everyone's in the Samyan area at night, but today we decided to have lunch. This restaurant is a super popular mala hotpot restaurant with several branches in Bangkok. The highlight of the restaurant is its lavish decor, making you feel like you've stepped into a Chinese drama.

The menu is similar to other mala restaurants, with a wide selection of soup bases. Today, we chose a three-compartment soup base. A recommended dish, one we think you should order, is the minced shrimp balls. The shrimp are incredibly soft and bouncy. My younger sibling loved the steamed buns with condensed milk.

After the main course, we headed to Chan Gin Cha Yen Wan (Ice Cream Tea) for lunch. Our favorite is the iced tea slushie. The restaurant is small, with only a few seats, and most customers order takeout.
