Hitori Shabu: A Solo Shabu Restaurant

As the name suggests, this restaurant is designed for solo dining. There are no group tables here—only counter seating, where everyone has their own personal hot pot.

The atmosphere is polite and reminiscent of a Japanese-style restaurant.

The food is served in sets, including beef, pork, and seafood options. You can choose from shabu, sukiyaki, or nabe styles, and additional menu items are available for order.

Each shabu and sukiyaki set comes with vegetables, tofu, glass noodles, and two side dishes. One side dish is crispy pickled vegetables, while the other is half an abalone—soft and incredibly delicious.

The quality of the meat is excellent, the broth is flavorful, and the ponzu sauce is wonderfully aromatic.

Finish your meal with ice cream. Highly recommended is the Hokkaido soy sauce flavor—it’s fragrant, creamy, slightly salty, and absolutely delightful.

Location: Marketplace, Krungthep Kreetha
