Nanre Village, nestled at the foot of Mingyue Mountain in Yichun, Jiangxi Province, is nestled against the mountainside, with a trickling stream flowing through the village. Despite its historic status, the village boasts few ancient buildings, with only two thousand-year-old ginkgo trees bearing witness to the vicissitudes of life. The symbol of Nanre Village is the twin thousand-year-old ginkgo trees at the village entrance. These trees have a circumference of approximately 8 meters, a height of approximately 28 meters, and a canopy spanning over 100 square meters. From a distance, the two trees resemble a forest. According to identification, the ginkgo trees are over 1,200 years old.
Yichun has a warm climate, abundant sunshine, plentiful rainfall and a long frost-free period.
