Have you tried the new Mala Hot Pot menu at Katsuya yet?

#TravelTalk! Come try the new menu item, Mala Hot Pot 🍲 at Katsuya 🏮

I'm a regular at Katsuya, and when I saw their new menu item, I decided to give it a try. This set comes with 🌶️ a Mala hot pot with pork or chicken, vegetables, tofu skin, tonkatsu, and Japanese rice. 🍚 There are two types of Mala soup to choose from: Original and Mala Milk. I chose the Original, but I was worried it would be too spicy 🤣, so I ordered another set instead: Tokyo DIY. You can choose your food from the set, which includes Tonkatsu rice, fried chicken skin, and a drink. I also ordered the Spicy Shrimp Roe Salad. I love the sauce, which is delicious and crunchy. I personally think the Mala Hot Pot is a bit bland. Not too spicy 🤣 What did you think?
