Avocado House (Jodd Fairs Ratchada) in Bangkok, Thailand

The Avocado House at JODD FAIRS Ratchada is absolutely amazing. I was afraid to try avocados as a kid, but I fell in love with them as an adult. Every time I see avocado smoothies in Thailand, I buy them. I discovered this Avocado House at JODD FAIRS Ratchada. The cabinets were filled with avocados the size of lead balls. I ordered the Avocado Milk Smoothie #1, which was the richest I've ever had. It was topped with several tablespoons of freshly scooped avocado pulp, and it was incredibly satisfying.

Afterwards, I went to Big C next door, but I couldn't stop craving that flavor. So I went back and bought a Avocado Honey Milk #2 to enjoy slowly at the hotel. The pretty lady boss recognized me, considering I'd just bought one. I told her it was amazing, and she was delighted. Seeing I wanted to take a photo, she even offered me her baby avocado doll.

Of the two, I prefer the simpler version of the first. While the honey adds a nice honey aroma, it's a bit too sweet for someone like me who's used to sugar-free drinks. Seeing the photos makes me miss this flavor all over again. Next time I'm in Bangkok, I'll definitely go back and buy it from the owner.
