Celebrate Christmas in Japan and experience the festive atmosphere of Osaka's Festival of Lights

🧳Route:
✅The Midosuji Illumination stretches 4 km from Umeda Station to Namba Station. I stayed in Namba and took the subway to Yodoyabashi Station. I exited from Exit 1 and turned right. I followed the crowd to a street of lights, passed Osaka City Hall, and arrived at the Central Public Hall. Be sure to wait for a light show here (the interval is not long). It's very impressive.
✅The stairs next to it lead to the riverbank, where there is a light display of Osaka Castle and various food stalls. There were a lot of people, but everyone was orderly.
✅Then, navigate to Midosuji Street and walk towards Shinsaibashi. The trees on both sides of the road are decorated with lights, creating a magical fairy tale atmosphere. The festive atmosphere is overwhelming. (We walked from Yodoyabashi Station back to our hotel at Namba Station, which was about 4 km.)
📝Tips:
There don't seem to be any restaurants on Midosuji Street, but there are several cafes. If you want to eat, you can walk to the side streets or directly to Shinsaibashi.
❤The event ends on January 31, 2025!
