Review of "Tim Nom Sod" Pratu Phi - Chill out with delicious bread

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck

The day we walked past Dim Nom Sod, on Mahachai Road, opposite Wat Ratchanadda, in the Pratu Phi area, the atmosphere outside felt like a chill old town. This shop doesn't feel like a fancy milk shop, but it's friendly and comfortable.

Menu I Tried & My Feelings

We ordered the Butter and Milk Toast and the Nutella Toast, both of which were excellent. The bread was grilled over a charcoal grill, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a pleasant charcoal aroma. The butter and milk flavor was just the right amount of sweet. Another must-try is the toast with pandan and Thai tea custard. The two-colored custard is poured over the bread and dipped in the toast, making it incredibly delicious. The custard was smooth and fragrant with pandan leaves, while the sweetness of the tea was just the right amount. Paired with a drink like milk tea or hot tea, it was even more enjoyable.

Shop Atmosphere & Recommended Time

There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas, ideal for a chill evening. However, we recommend visiting before dusk. You'll get good seats and a more comfortable experience than when the shop first opened. The shop's opening hours are listed as 4:30 PM onwards, making it a great place to unwind after work.

Conclusion

If you enjoy toasted bread with butter and milk or fragrant kaya in a relaxed atmosphere in the old town, Tim Nom Sod is a must-visit. We recommend bringing friends over for a drink, a sweet treat, and a long chat. 😊
